Timmy Joe has been coaching volleyball for 20 years. He began his coaching career at St. Bartholomew School when his oldest daughter was in the 5th grade and coached until she graduated in 2006. He then set his sights on Noe Middle School where his youngest daughter was going to school. Timmy Joe and his wife Cathy began the volleyball program at Noe and coached there as the Varsity coach for 10 years.
While at Noe, he never had a losing season and was runner up in the city tournament twice, once in Gold and the other in Silver. After leaving Noe, he was named the JV coach at Atherton High School and coached the team until being named Varsity coach a year later. He has been with AHS as the Varsity coach for 7 years now. Timmy Joe has been coaching at MAVA for 12 years and has previously been head coach for 15 Great White & Head Coach of 15 Hammerhead before joining 15 Elite as an assistant coach for 3years.
Timmy Joe works for the local 502 Union at Walker Mechanical as a Service Plumber and also has a Master’s License. He has two grown girls who both are married & 2 grandchildren 4 yrs old. & the youngest 2 month old. He has been married to his wife Cathy for 36 years and they have 1 dog and 1 cat.
