Kayden Holcomb, 22, was a student athlete for Transylvania University and MAVA. Her volleyball career started at 12 years old where she played until her senior year at Transy. She has graduated with a Bachelors in Neuroscience with a psychology emphasis and a Biology minor where she is continuing her studies for medical school at University of Louisville. Before college, Kayden played at Floyd Central high school as a middle hitter. There she was named academic All-State, 3x All-Area team, and 2x Hoosier Hills Conference team. During her career at Transylvania as a middle, she has made 3x First Team All- Conference, NCAA All-tournament team selection, NCAA Third Team All-American. Where she has taken her team to NCAA tournament each year including finishing in the Elite 8 and Sweet-16. During college, she has coached for 3 years at Lexington United Volleyball club. There she has coached ages 12 and 13. She has came to coach at MAVA because she loved being around Volleyball and loves the game.
