Whitney Pryor is a Louisville native, graduated from Highview Baptist School where she played volleyball, softball, and basketball. She played club volleyball for Derby City and Louisville Thunder.
Whitney began her college career at Eastern Kentucky University then transferred to the University of Central Arkansas. At Central Arkansas, she was a middle and right side hitter, as well as walked on the women’s basketball team. During her college career she coached for a club in Conway, Arkansas for two years.
She joined the MAVA family in 2015 where she started as an assistant coach and as of the past few years she has moved into a head coaching role. She has been the head coach of 15 Hammerhead, 18 Select, and now 13 Select.
Whitney is a registered respiratory therapist with a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. She has a teenage son, Aiden, who is an avid chess player.
