Mallory Cobb has been a part of MAVA since the inaugural season as a player from 12’s-18’s. She has enjoyed many successes with MAVA as both a player and a coach, including coming in 2nd at AAUs. Some other accomplishments as a player include coming 3rd in the Junior Olympics while being coached by part owner, Tom Recktenwald. Mallory has come back to coach at MAVA with long time coach and dad, Bud Busch. The most memorable moments of her coaching career thus far have been signing all 9 seniors to play volleyball in college and concluding the season with a win for a division championship at AAU Nationals with the 18-Elite team.
