Alyssa Phelps is a first year MAVA coach. She has been an assistant coach for various clubs and for Shelby East Middle School since her high school career. She is excited to step into the role of head coach during her first year at MAVA.
Alyssa has played volleyball for over 12 years, including playing at North Bullitt High School and Unity during her high school career. Alyssa also played on the University of Louisville club volleyball team during her time there while working towards her Bachelors degree in Health and Human Performance.
Outside of volleyball, Alyssa works at a dental office and also obtained her ACE personal training certification shortly after graduating college. In her free time, she enjoys working out at the gym, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
