Daniel Gumm

Daniel Gumm has coached at MAVA since 2007 and is entering his 20th season as a club volleyball coach. He has developed volleyball athletes at all age groups throughout his tenure at MAVA. Daniel has also coached grade school, middle school, and high school volleyball teams within the city of Louisville and surrounding areas. Currently, he is a volunteer assistant at North Oldham High School where he trains and provides consultation services for the varsity athletes. Daniel’s club teams at MAVA have competed at the highest level, including many top 5 finishes at national tournaments all around the country. Daniel is a big believer in hard work and teaching life lessons through the sport of volleyball. Coaching young athletes is a great honor and responsibility that Daniel does not take for granted. Daniel is a Louisville, Kentucky native who stays busy with owning and operating a small litigation law firm when he’s not on the volleyball court. He has one daughter, Harper, who loves to grace her presence on the sidelines.
