Suzanne Asbury

A Louisville native, Suzanne Asbury has been playing volleyball for over 15 years and coaching for the last 6. Her volleyball career kick started at the age of 13 when she decided to play club for MAVA. The Mercy Academy alumni played all 4 years in high school taking home a state title in 2009 and runner-up in 2010, making the KHSAA all tournament team in the process. After graduating in 2011, she continued her volleyball career at Centre College where she made the SAA all conference team 3/4 years there. While at Centre, she played on the American International Sports Team in 2013, giving her the chance to play volleyball around Italy. She graduated with a bachelors of science degree in 2015. She currently works as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at the Eye Care Institute here in Louisville. She spends most of her free time doing things she loves likes playing sand volleyball, hanging with friends/family and traveling. She’s hoping to surpass the 31 countries she has already traveled to.
