Tim Cox has been coaching volleyball for 22 years and couldn’t imagine his life without it. In his coaching career, he has been the JV head coach at Providence (five years), head varsity coach at Jeffersonville High School (four years) where he was the first coach to win a first round sectional match after a 10 year dry period, and is currently in his sixth season as the 7th Grade Head Coach at Hazelwood Middle School. Having recently rejoined the MAVA coaching staff in 2022, he has now spent 9 years total at MAVA as the 16-Blue Head Coach. At 16-Blue, he finished 3rd in the Big South Qualifier, had a top 10 finish in AAU’s, and qualified for Junior Olympics when it was held in Minneapolis. He is looking forward to continuing his career with us at MAVA and is excited for the season!
