Wilani Velazquez is originally from Puerto Rico. She played volleyball since second grade all the way through high school. She committed to Dodge City CC her freshman year of college and after then she transferred to Midway University where she played the next 4 years. She graduated from Midway University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education Studies and Psychology. She is currently an EL teacher at Shelby County High School. This is her first season at MAVA and she is very excited for this new upcoming season.
